OneRacing publishes original motorsport reporting — where our coverage builds on facts first reported elsewhere, each article credits and links to its source — and hosts a community wall where users post their own content. We respect the rights of journalists, photographers, publishers, and rights holders, and we act on valid takedown notices promptly. This page explains how to send a copyright notice, how the person who posted the content can respond, and what happens to accounts that repeatedly infringe.
If you believe content on OneRacing — editorial or user-posted — infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] containing the elements required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):
We aim to review complete notices within 5 business days. Where a claim is valid we will remove or disable access to the material — including its stored image files — and, for user-posted content, notify the user who posted it.
Copyright notices should be directed to the agent designated below, who is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office’s DMCA Designated Agent Directory under registration number DMCA-1078256.
If your content was removed in response to a copyright notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to [email protected] containing:
On receiving a valid counter-notification we will forward it to the original claimant and, unless they notify us that they have filed a court action, restore the material within 10–14 business days.
Accounts accumulate a strike each time their content is removed for infringement (or for violating our community rules). Accounts that receive repeated strikes are suspended and, in appropriate circumstances, terminated. We may also terminate an account for a single egregious infringement.
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please make sure a claim is yours to make before filing.
