A splash of paint at Road America
It is always a treat when the paddock decides to shake up the visual landscape, and the XPEL Grand Prix at Road America is delivering exactly that this weekend. We are seeing some beautiful, creative shifts on the grid as teams lean into partnerships and artistic flair.
Rinus VeeKay is turning heads in his No. 76 Chevrolet for Juncos Hollinger Racing. The machine features a stunning, custom livery designed by Indianapolis artist Justin Patten—known as Storm Striker Art—in a project that brings his signature style to a race car for the very first time. If you like the look, you are in luck, as this design will stay on the car for the next event at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on July 5.
Scott McLaughlin is representing Team Penske with a sharp yellow-and-white aesthetic on his No. 3 Chevrolet, sporting the colors of partner XPEL, who also serves as the title sponsor for the race. Meanwhile, Felix Rosenqvist, winner of the 2026 Indianapolis 500, will pilot the No. 60 SiriusXM Honda. His machine is draped in a special livery highlighting SiriusXM Alt Nation and YUNGBLUD, the Grammy Award-winning musician.
The field sees further changes with Christian Rasmussen sporting Direct Supply branding on the sidepods of his No. 21 Chevrolet for ECR, while Graham Rahal’s No. 15 Honda for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing will carry the bold lettering of MSC Industrial Supply.
