David Malukas impressed by putting his No. 12 Verizon Team Penske Chevrolet on the front row, while a flu-ridden Marcus Armstrong pushed his No. 66 Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb Agajanian Honda to a career-best third. The speed from the MSR camp is genuinely wild, with Felix Rosenqvist taking the fourth spot. Meanwhile, it was a disaster for title contender Kyle Kirkwood, who languishes down in 18th after a brutal weekend of struggles in his No. 27 Sam’s Club Honda.
