Alghero returns as host city for Rally Italia Sardegna

Rally Italia Sardegna is set to return to the coastal city of Alghero for its 23rd edition. This marks the tenth time the Coral Coast venue will host the WRC since its debut there in 2014, with the service park once again situated along the Lungomare Barcellona. The event will conclude with a ceremonial podium finish set against the city's historic bastions.

Scheduled for October, this year’s rally will be only the fourth autumn iteration in the event's history. The shift to later in the season brings the potential for unpredictable weather, further complicating the rally's notoriously rough and abrasive gravel stages. With only one event remaining on the calendar after Sardinia, the outcome is expected to have significant implications for the championship battle.
