Antonelli identifies Ferrari as the benchmark for Monaco
It is an incredible run for Kimi Antonelli, who comes into Monaco fresh off a streak of four consecutive victories. Yet, the championship leader is already looking over his shoulder, naming Ferrari as the team to beat. He points specifically to their rear winglet as a key advantage, providing the Italian machine with massive downforce in low-speed sections.
Lewis Hamilton, currently carrying a 43-point deficit to his Mercedes teammate, sees things slightly differently. While he notes a painful lack of power compared to the front-runners in Montreal, he recognizes that Monte Carlo is a unique beast where brute strength takes a backseat to chassis performance. "That’s the one track that power is not king," Hamilton noted, clearly hopeful that Monaco will finally allow him to challenge the leaders.
