Audi impressed by Paul Aron's maiden FP1 outing

It is a rare thing to see a team as calculated as Audi genuinely moved by a young talent, but that is exactly what happened in Barcelona. Paul Aron stepped into the cockpit of Nico Hulkenberg’s car for FP1, and he clearly made the most of the machine.

Sporting Director Inaki Rueda confirmed the team were left very impressed with the Estonian driver's performance throughout the session at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix. It is a stunning bit of confidence to earn from a team like Audi, especially when filling a seat as important as Hulkenberg’s.
