Bmw conquers the 2026 Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo
It is absolutely wild to witness the #15 BMW M Hybrid Hypercar secure the Bavarian marque’s second FIA WEC win of the season today. At the 2026 Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo, Kevin Magnussen, Raffaele Marciello, and Dries Vanthoor put in a stunning drive to take the victory at Interlagos.
This was no easy feat, as they had to fend off the reigning champions in the #51 Ferrari AF Corse 499P Hypercar. The battle between the BMW trio and the lineup of James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi, and Alessandro Pier Guidi was nothing short of epic. These machines were pushing the limits, and in the end, the BMW team stood tall.
The final step of the Hypercar podium went to the pole-sitting #12 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA. Will Stevens and Norman Nato held their own to take home third, capping off a high-stakes duel among the top contenders.
The action was just as fierce in the LMGT3 category. We saw a multi-manufacturer war where the Ford Mustang, Corvette, Akkodis ASP Team, and Iron Lynx Mercedes all traded the lead. It was a beautiful, chaotic display of endurance racing.
When the dust finally settled, it was the Racing Team Turkey by TF Corvette that emerged victorious. Salih Yoluç, Charlie Eastwood, and Peter Dempsey claimed the silverware in a tight contest. They finished ahead of the #69 Team WRT entry piloted by Parker Thompson, Anthony McIntosh, and Daniel Harper, who took second. Rounding out the top three were Richard Lietz, Riccardo Pera, and Yasser Shahin in the #92 The Bend Manthey Porsche.
