Carlos Sainz reflects on a muted weekend for Williams at Silverstone
It is difficult to digest, but the latest upgrades at Williams simply didn't deliver the jump they needed. Carlos Sainz was blunt about the situation at Silverstone, describing the team's progression as a small step, and candidly admitting it was a bit smaller than they would have liked.
In the thick of the action during Sprint Qualifying, the results showed exactly how much work remains. Sainz finished in P15, managing to slot in just one position ahead of his teammate Alex Albon. Despite the underwhelming pace, Sainz remains committed to the grind, vowing to keep pushing and keep digging to find more speed.
