Alex Palou arrives with a commanding 62-point lead, and if anyone is going to stop him from taking a fifth title in six years, they have to do it now. Palou’s average finish at this track is 10.7, making this one of the few places where he looks vulnerable.
Kyle Kirkwood is the man looking to capitalize, holding the only series win on his record that isn't from a street circuit, which he secured right here at WWTR last year. Meanwhile, Josef Newgarden is the absolute master of this place with five series wins, though everyone is watching to see how his injured foot holds up under the pressure of the brakes.
