Felix Rosenqvist to leave Meyer Shank Racing after 2026 season

The 2026 silly season has officially kicked into gear with a massive shakeup. Michael Shank, co-owner of Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb Agajanian, has confirmed that Felix Rosenqvist will depart the team once this season concludes. It is a stunning development for a partnership that recently hit the absolute peak of the sport.

Rosenqvist is currently sixth in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES standings, a position bolstered by what is arguably the biggest victory of his career: the 110th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge. Shank did not hide his disappointment, stating, “It’s unfortunate that Felix has decided to move on from MSR at the end of the season, particularly given everything we’ve accomplished together.”

There is still work to be done, however, with eight races remaining on the calendar. Rosenqvist, 34, continues to pilot the No. 60 Honda, while teammate Marcus Armstrong remains in the No. 66 Honda. With no word yet on where the Swede is headed or who will fill his seat in 2027, the team is now firmly in the market for a new driver to carry their momentum forward.
