Finnish Prime Minister showcases national rally passion

Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo has highlighted the country’s enduring connection to rallying in a new film featuring an Audi Quattro S1 E2. The project involved transporting the iconic rally car from the Prime Minister’s official residence in Helsinki to Jyväskylä, a city globally synonymous with the sport and the upcoming host of the FIA World Rally Championship round from July 30 to August 2.

Facilitated by Secto Automotive founder Matias Henkola, the film serves as both a celebration of the sport and a metaphor for national resilience. Orpo remarked that rally success mirrors the mindset needed for the country’s future, emphasizing the necessity of looking forward and taking decisive action rather than dwelling on the past.

Beyond the promotional film, the initiative aligns with Secto’s ongoing efforts to integrate sustainable practices into motorsport. As the title partner of the event, the company is further expanding its involvement through the Secto LABS team, which will compete in WRC2 with drivers Teemu Suninen and Janni Hussi, aiming to demonstrate a sustainable and cost-effective model for future rally operations.
