Formula 1 fans have had their say, picking their ultimate starting eleven for a football match, organized in a 4-2-3-1 formation. The selections, made via the F1 app, reflect a mix of perceived footballing abilities and fan sentiment.
Mercedes driver George Russell has been chosen as the goalkeeper, anticipated to utilize his height and speed to defend the net. The defence features Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton as full-backs, bringing experience and tactical awareness. The centre-back pairing consists of Nico Hulkenberg and Max Verstappen, selected for their presumed chemistry and defensive capabilities.
In midfield, Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris form a dynamic double pivot, expected to blend work rate with intelligent interplay. Kimi Antonelli is positioned as the creative attacking midfielder, noted for his youth and flair.
