Alpine driver Franco Colapinto experienced a challenging outing at the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix, ultimately crossing the finish line in 15th position. Despite showing signs of potential during Friday’s opening practice session, the driver was unable to maintain that momentum as the weekend progressed.

Colapinto admitted that the car’s handling proved difficult to manage during the race, stating that he felt "quite disconnected" from the machine. The balance issues hampered his pace, preventing the Alpine driver from securing a higher finishing spot at the Spielberg circuit.
