Franco Colapinto finds the limits of Monaco
It was a tense Friday for Franco Colapinto on the unforgiving streets of Monaco. The Alpine driver logged a P15 result in both practice sessions, a clear sign that he is still hunting for the rhythm required to tame this circuit. Things nearly went south during FP2, where he had a close brush with a barrier that serves as a brutal reminder of how little margin for error exists here.
Colapinto was open about his frustrations afterward, admitting he is “really struggling with the brakes in some places.” It is a headache for the team, but the clock is ticking. With Saturday bringing both FP3 and the pressure of Qualifying, he has a massive amount of work to do to get the machine dialed in.
