Franco Colapinto struggles through a difficult Friday in Barcelona

It is a rare day when a driver calls their own performance the worst of the year, but that is exactly where Franco Colapinto found himself today. Following two practice sessions at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, the Alpine driver was left clearly dissatisfied with his machinery after finishing in P10 and then P15.

There is no hiding from the reality that the car is simply not cooperating. Colapinto was blunt about the situation after the day’s running, stating, “The car is feeling very poor.”
