George Russell lost in confusion after Monaco penalties

It is honestly difficult to watch. George Russell was holding a podium position in the final laps at Monaco, only to see his race completely unravel due to two penalties. He ultimately crossed the finish line in P13, a staggering drop from where he had been running.

After the checkered flag, a clearly baffled Russell admitted he was "in a state of struggling to comprehend what is going on." To go from the glory of P3 to the back of the pack in such a short window is a brutal reality for the Mercedes driver. I simply cannot imagine the frustration of losing a result like that in the closing moments.
