Gill makes strong WRC2 debut in Sweden

Taylor Gill delivered an impressive performance during his maiden WRC2 appearance, securing a top-five finish behind the wheel of a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2. Despite the significant leap in machinery, Gill and co-driver Daniel Brkic maintained a composed pace throughout the event, exceeding their pre-rally expectations.

Adapting to the complexities of the Rally2 platform, Gill leaned on the expertise of seasoned competitor Teemu Suninen for guidance between stages. The young driver noted that while the added performance was beneficial, managing the technical setup of the car required a steep learning curve.
