Hamilton secures maiden Ferrari win at Barcelona-Catalunya

Lewis Hamilton achieved his first Grand Prix victory for Ferrari at the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit, holding off strong challenges to secure the win. The seven-time world champion executed a three-stop strategy effectively, ultimately building a commanding lead.

George Russell finished second for Mercedes, inheriting the position after teammate Kimi Antonelli suffered a late mechanical failure. Antonelli, who had led the championship standings, was forced to retire from the race.

Lando Norris rounded out the podium for McLaren, capitalizing on Antonelli's retirement and a late issue for Charles Leclerc. Oscar Piastri secured fifth for McLaren, while Leclerc's race ended in retirement for the second consecutive event after crashing in qualifying and encountering a power steering failure during the race.

The Formula 2 and Formula 3 support races also saw new winners, with Rafael Camara winning the F2 Feature Race and Theophile Nael taking his first F3 Feature Race victory.
