It is absolutely brutal to watch a driver pull off a masterclass only to have it ripped away by the stewards. Pierre Gasly delivered a beautiful drive for Alpine, crossing the line in third place at the iconic Monaco circuit. It was a result that felt earned, a moment of pure class on the tightest streets of the year.

Then came the penalty. Because of a speeding infringement in the pit lane, Gasly was demoted all the way down to P7. The heartbreak was immediate and raw, with Gasly simply stating, "I don’t really know what to say."
