That means every moment of the world’s premier motorcycle racing championship will stay live and in High Definition.
Commencing in 2027, DAZN’s Kayo Sports and Foxtel will keep their status as the only place in Australia to watch every MotoGP qualifying, practice, and race live, complete with ad-break-free racing. It is a massive deal that extends the longest broadcast partnership in MotoGP’s history, marking a stunning 30 years as a broadcast partner for the championship.
Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany highlighted the massive changes coming down the pipe. "With world-class racing and a championship battle going down to the wire, MotoGP has never been more thrilling," Delany said, pointing to 2027 as a major new chapter featuring major regulation changes, four of the five current champions changing manufacturers, and a new home for the Australian Grand Prix in .
Carlos Ezpeleta, Deputy CEO of the MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group, echoed that excitement about the partnership's longevity. This fresh extension sits alongside renewed agreements for Formula 1 and Supercars on Kayo Sports and Foxtel, cementing their position as the home of motorsport in Australia. Foxtel Group’s Executive Director of Commercial Sport, Adam Howarth, emphasized how deeply motorsport sits within the country's tier-one sporting landscape alongside the AFL, NRL, and cricket, noting that DAZN also holds MotoGP rights in Spain and Portugal.
In the immediate term, the 2026 MotoGP Championship continues on Friday September 11 for the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera. Meanwhile, the final MotoGP on Phillip Island, Australia starts on Friday October 23, with every practice, qualifying, and race broadcasting live and ad-break free during racing on Kayo Sports and Foxtel.
