Kush Maini masters Barcelona in dominant sprint win

Kush Maini was absolutely untouchable in Barcelona. The ART Grand Prix and Alpine Academy driver launched from the front row to clear polesitter Noel Leon immediately, and from that moment, he never looked back. It was a beautiful display of control, managing his Pirelli tyres perfectly to cross the line with a seven-second margin over the rest of the field.

Behind him, the race for the podium was intense. Gabriele Minì, driving for MP Motorsport, carved his way up from seventh on the grid, eventually clinching second place after a hard-fought battle with Nikola Tsolov that included a bit of contact at Turn 1. Tsolov, representing Campos Racing and the Red Bull Junior Team, had his hands full throughout, ultimately taking third after a late-race scramble involving Colton Herta.

It was a heartbreaking end for Herta, who looked poised for a maiden podium before a lock-up into Turn 5 sent him through the gravel. This mistake dropped the Hitech driver to fifth, allowing Noel León to slide into fourth and climb to third in the Drivers' Championship.
