Lando Norris remains positive following a disappointing Montreal result

It was a wild start for Lando Norris in Montreal, as he surged into the lead immediately after the first corner. The promise of that opening stint was short-lived, however, as a pit stop on lap 2 to change tyres forced him to fight his way back before a mechanical issue ended his race entirely on lap 40.

It is brutal to see such a strong start go to waste like that. Even so, the McLaren driver remains excited for the future, clearly encouraged by the sheer pace his car displayed during the event. It is a testament to the machine that he can walk away from a DNF focusing on the potential rather than the frustration.
