Martinius Stenshorne leads a Rodin Motorsport 1-2 in Montreal

Martinius Stenshorne finally broke through for his first FIA Formula 2 victory in a wild Montreal Feature Race. Starting from third, the Norwegian navigated a treacherous, damp track that caught out nearly everyone else. It was pure chaos out there, with polesitter Laurens van Hoepen ultimately binning it into the Wall of Champions while leading.

Stenshorne kept his head while others like Nikola Tsolov and Rafael Câmara fell victim to errors and contact. Even with a string of Safety Cars, he managed the final restart perfectly to bring the car home in first. Right on his gearbox was his Rodin Motorsport teammate Alexander Dunne, who climbed from sixth on the grid to secure second and continue his incredible streak of podium finishes.

Gabriele Minì managed to keep his own streak alive, finishing third and remaining the only driver to score in every 2026 round. Further back, Sebastián Montoya put in an absolute shift, charging from 18th to fifth for PREMA Racing, while Tsolov managed to recover to fourth despite a spin.
