Membrado secures maiden WRC3 victory at home rally

Sergi Pérez Membrado secured his first WRC3 victory this weekend, delivering a dominant performance on home soil. The 18-year-old managed a comfortable 13.7-second margin over Tymek Abramowski, building on his previous runner-up finish in Croatia to cap off a successful April.

Abramowski entered Sunday as the overnight leader, but a compromised tyre strategy on the morning loop cost him significant time. Despite a spirited attempt to bridge the gap in the following stages, the deficit proved too large to overcome, particularly after the cancellation of the penultimate stage shortened the competitive route.

Following his composed drive through the final Power Stage, Membrado now leads the WRC3 championship standings by four points over Matteo Fontana. Ghjuvanni Rossi rounded out the podium in third, followed by Nicolas Otto, Santiago Pérez, and Raúl Hernández in the final top-six classification.
