Michigan prepares for the 15th round of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series
The NASCAR Cup Series leaves the Music City behind and heads straight for the Motor City this Sunday. We are looking at the 15th points-paying race of the 2026 campaign at Michigan International Speedway, and honestly, it is time to see who has the pace on these high-speed turns.
Denny Hamlin enters the weekend riding the momentum of his win at Nashville Superspeedway last Sunday, returning as the defending winner of this event. It is also worth noting that J.J. Yeley will be behind the wheel of the No. 44 NY Racing Team Chevrolet. At 49 years old, this marks his second start of the season and his first appearance since the race at EchoPark Speedway back in February.
There are 37 cars on the entry list for this one. Coverage kicks off at 3 p.m. ET, available via Prime Video, HBO Max, MRN Radio, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
