Mille Johansson expands to full-time WRC2 campaign for 2026

Junior WRC champion Mille Johansson is set for a comprehensive seven-round WRC2 campaign this season. The 19-year-old Swedish driver had previously confirmed four outings with the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team as part of his 2025 prize package, covering events in Sweden, Croatia, Portugal, and Finland.

To complete his full schedule, Johansson has signed with MS Munaretto to compete in Rally Islas Canarias, the Acropolis Rally in Greece, and Rally Estonia. This move strengthens an existing relationship, as Johansson and co-driver Johan Grönvall previously raced with the Italian squad in the FIA European Rally Championship and the Italian Gravel Championship. The duo will pilot a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 for their additional entries.

Reflecting on the expansion, Johansson expressed enthusiasm for maintaining continuity with a team he knows well. Team principal Alex Munaretto stated that the primary objective for the season is to help the young driver refine his consistency and translate his inherent speed into strong results across diverse rally conditions.
