Three different paths, one dream, and a whole lot of cameras tracking every single step of it. NASCAR’s all-access docuseries “RISING” is officially returning for a second season, putting the spotlight directly on three emerging stars as they tackle the messy, high-pressure realities of their careers both on and off the track.
Here is the lineup for the four-episode season: NASCAR Cup Series drivers Connor Zilisch and Carson Hocevar, alongside NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Brenden “Butterbean” Queen. This new season is rolling out monthly from August through November, kicking things off with a Zilisch-focused premiere that is live right now.
Fans looking to catch the action can tune in to Xumo Play, where new episodes debut on the first or second Thursday of each month. If you miss the initial drop, don't sweat it—each installment will also land on NASCAR’s YouTube channel exactly 14 days after its Xumo Play premiere.
The schedule kicks off with Episode 1 on Thursday, August 6, featuring Connor Zilisch. Before making his rise into the NASCAR Cup Series, Zilisch grew up racing go-karts and earned a specific nickname, a detail unpacked by his family members in the episode. Right in the middle of a difficult rookie season where he is simply hoping to have clean races, the show rides along with him as he breaks down his weekly thought process on the track.
Episode 2 drops on Thursday, September 3, and turns the focus to Brenden “Butterbean” Queen. The installment follows the Craftsman Truck Series rookie and Kaulig Racing driver, giving viewers a look at his unique personality as he gets his first dose of racing at his home track, Richmond Raceway.
Episode 3 arrives on Thursday, October 8, putting Carson Hocevar in the main spotlight. Finally, Episode 4 rounds out the run on Thursday, November 5, bringing all three drivers together to close out the season. It is an insane, unfiltered look at the personalities, challenges, and raw ambitions shaping the next generation of talent in the sport.
