Oliver Solberg has fortified his position at the head of the Rallye Monte-Carlo leaderboard, extending his advantage to 1 minute 4.2 seconds by the time crews returned to the midday service park. The Toyota driver demonstrated consistent pace across the difficult morning stages, securing multiple fastest times despite contending with a front-left puncture on the fifth special stage.

Teammate Elfyn Evans holds second overall, having secured a stage win during the loop, though he admitted that the lack of grip in the slushy mountain sections made it difficult to bridge the gap to Solberg. Sébastien Ogier completes the current top three, maintaining a steady lead over the trailing Hyundai machines.

Thierry Neuville currently sits in fourth place after a measured performance, followed by Adrien Fourmaux in fifth. Meanwhile, WRC debutant Jon Armstrong has impressed in the M-Sport Ford, holding sixth position despite the challenging and unpredictable road conditions.
