Organisers unveil revised route for 2026 EKO Acropolis Rally

The 2026 EKO Acropolis Rally itinerary has been unveiled, covering regions across Attica, the Peloponnese, and Central Greece. The event kicks off with a Thursday night super special stage in Athens before transitioning to a novel logistics plan: crews and vehicles will be transported by ship from the Port of Corinth to Itea. This maritime transit will double as the parc ferme, allowing teams the option to stay aboard during the crossing.

Friday’s competition begins with the Bauxites stage, followed by the lengthy Parnassos Mt test, which integrates a segment last seen in 2009 with entirely new terrain. The day continues with repeat runs of Stiri and the classic Thiva stage. Saturday sees the return of long-absent tests like Ghymno and Kefalari, alongside the Menalo Mt and Kolines stages, the latter cutting through the dense forests of Skiritida.

Action concludes on Sunday with two runs of a significantly lengthened Loutraki stage, the second of which will serve as the rally-ending Wolf Power Stage. The final day also incorporates a condensed version of the popular Aghii Theodori test, rounding out a diverse route designed to showcase Greece's varied landscape while maintaining high competitive standards.
