Patrick Enok turns impossible dream into reality for home WRC start
It is quite a story. Only a few months ago, 20-year-old Patrick Enok was staring down the barrel of an impossible 2026 season with no clear path forward. Now, thanks to a vital support package from WRC Promoter and WRC Delfi Rally Estonia, he is set to make his debut in WRC2 at his home event later this month. It is a massive leap for the youngster, who will be piloting a Printsport-run Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 with co-driver Silver Simm.
This isn't just about showing up; it is about managing the step from a Rally4 car to the brutal speed of a Rally2 machine on the lightning-fast gravel stages of Estonia. Enok has been grafting in the Finnish Rally Championship, but he knows the world stage is a different beast entirely. Between the increased length of the event and the mental toll of a longer rally, he is keeping his eyes firmly on the road rather than the prize fund available to local drivers.
He admits he feels confident on about half of the stages, with the rest remaining a bit of an unknown quantity. Still, there is genuine ambition here; if all goes well at home, he is eyeing a start at Secto Rally Finland next. It is refreshing to see this kind of momentum—he has the backing, he has the car, and now he has to do the job.
