Ryan Blaney takes celebrity guests for a ride in On The Gas

Ryan Blaney is changing the pace of the typical interview. Starting July 1, the Team Penske Ford driver—who is the 2023 Cup Series champion—is launching a new four-episode series titled “On The Gas with Ryan Blaney” exclusively on NASCAR’s YouTube channel.

It is an insane concept: Blaney puts guests like Keegan Michael Key, Chad Ochocinco, Westen Champlin, and The Stradman into the car for a real racing experience. Rather than sitting in a sterile studio, they are catching air and talking while navigating the track. It is the kind of raw, unscripted chaos you can only get when someone is actually pushing a machine to its limits.

Each of the four episodes runs for approximately 20 minutes. As Blaney puts it, sharing the intensity and culture of the sport with people from totally different worlds has been a unique challenge. You can catch him back to his standard business this Sunday at the Chicagoland Speedway.
