Sami Pajari demonstrates growing potential in WRC

Sami Pajari secured his third career WRC podium at the recent Safari Rally Kenya, navigating the demanding conditions in his Toyota GR Yaris to finish third behind Takamoto Katsuta and Adrien Fourmaux. His performance was highlighted by five stage wins, placing him just behind teammate Sébastien Ogier in terms of total stage victories throughout the event.

This result continues a consistent run for the 24-year-old Finn, who has now finished in the top seven nine times in his last ten WRC entries. Having already exceeded his 2023 stage win tally within the first three rounds of this season, Pajari believes his pace now allows him to challenge the frontrunners across various conditions.

Looking ahead, Pajari is shifting his focus to the next round of the championship in Croatia, which features a revised route and a new base in Rijeka. Following his success in Kenya, the driver also contributed to Toyota’s future development efforts by testing their 2027 prototype in Portugal.
