Stroll reveals gearbox issue caused his retirement in Barcelona

Lance Stroll's Spanish Grand Prix came to an abrupt end after just a few laps, with the Aston Martin driver forced to retire from the race.

Speaking after the event, Stroll disclosed that a problem with his car's gearbox was the cause of his early exit. He indicated that he had been experiencing difficulties shifting gears for a number of laps prior to parking the car.

His retirement marked a disappointing conclusion to the weekend for the Canadian driver at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
