It is official: Formula 1 is staying in Las Vegas through 2037. This track is becoming a permanent fixture, and frankly, the numbers are just as wild as the circuit itself. We are talking about a 6.201km layout that requires 1,750 temporary lights to illuminate the night, not to mention the 2,400 gear changes every driver completes over a 50-lap race distance of 309.958km.

The spectacle on track has been intense, and the data backs it up. Back in 2023, the debut race saw an incredible 181 overtakes, the highest figure of that entire season. To keep these machines pushing hard, Alex Albon set the fastest speed ever recorded at this circuit during the 2024 event, hitting a massive 368.9 km/h (229.2 mph). It is a beast of a track, featuring 3,500 barrier blocks and a 2km flat-out blast down the Strip.

Beyond the racing, the impact is massive. The Las Vegas Grand Prix has generated $3.2 billion in cumulative economic impact for Southern Nevada. The 2025 event alone saw $43 million in tax revenue, supported over 60 local nonprofits, hosted 1,200 military family members, and rescued 71,481 pounds of food for local relief.
