Valtteri Bottas faces a difficult Monaco Grand Prix from the back

It is going to be a long afternoon for Valtteri Bottas, who is set to start the Monaco Grand Prix from the very back of the pack in 20th position. This is not the Sunday anyone wants at such a legendary venue.

After a brutal qualifying session, Bottas was quite clear about the root of the misery. He admitted he was ‘struggling a lot with the ride of the car’ as his Cadillac failed to handle the unique demands of this classic street circuit. Finding the right rhythm here is everything, and clearly, the balance just wasn't there.
