Vasilakis nears maiden WRC3 victory in Kenya

Greek driver Vasilakis holds a commanding advantage heading into the final day of the rally, maintaining a lead of nearly 37 minutes in his Ford Fiesta Rally3. His consistency has been the defining factor of the event, as he remains the only competitor in the WRC3 class to navigate the first three days without requiring a restart, positioning him to target both the Masters and WRC3 class honors.

Nikhail Sachania currently holds second place. While his home rally bid was hampered by mechanical trouble on Friday, he opted for a conservative pace on Saturday to stabilize his position. Nataniel Bruun, who demonstrated strong pace throughout the event, sits in third after battling back from multiple retirements caused by deep ruts and a broken front-right spigot. Meanwhile, Naveen Pulligilla was forced to retire on Saturday due to a mechanical fault on the Soysambu stage.
