The Cup Series machines are scheduled to hit the track for race day on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET, with live coverage broadcast on USA Network. Goodyear's tire setup brings a specific allocation for the weekend, giving teams 11 total sets to manage. Out of those, competitors get eight new sets specifically for the race, a pair of sets for practice, and a single set designated for qualifying that rolls over straight into the race itself.
Meanwhile, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series field takes center stage earlier in the weekend, lining up for their race on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET with television coverage on FS1. These hardworking machines face their own distinct tire allotment, working with five total sets over the course of the event. That breaks down to three new sets for the race itself, one set for practice, and a single set for qualifying that also transfers over to race day.
That said, teams across both garages will need to adapt quickly since traditional on-track setup sessions look entirely different here.
