With Hadjar declared fit and ready to jump back in alongside Verstappen from Thursday at the Baku City Circuit, the musical chairs in the energy drink camp come to a natural end. Liam Lawson heads back to Visa Cash App Racing Bulls after stepping in to cover the last three races under properly challenging circumstances, while Yuki Tsunoda slides back into his usual reserve duties.
Oracle Red Bull Racing issued a statement on Tuesday confirming the comeback, expressing their delight to have Hadjar back in the garage. The team also took a moment to praise Lawson's professionalism, dedication, and hard work during his three-race stint where he delivered impressive performances and made a valuable contribution.
There is also a twist in the timetable for this weekend. The Azerbaijan event kicks off a day earlier than usual to avoid crashing into the country's Remembrance Day on September 27. That means Free Practice lands on Thursday, Qualifying takes place on Friday, and the Grand Prix itself goes down on Saturday.
