Here is some genuinely great news for the future of motorsport mechanics and technical education in Argentina. ACTC Educación and the Universidad Provincial de Oficios (UPrO) have officially joined forces through a new cooperation agreement designed to strengthen technical training, share valuable knowledge, and create brand-new educational opportunities tied directly to the automotive world.
The official signing took place right at the UPrO headquarters, situated at the intersection of Centenario and Justo Daract avenues in the city of San Luis. The paperwork was formally signed by Facundo Gil Bicella, the Secretary General of the ACTC, and Rudy Camera, the Rector of the Universidad Provincial de Oficios. Both leaders highlighted just how vital this initiative will be for building lasting spaces dedicated to training, education, and joint development.

Speaking on behalf of the university, Rudy Camera emphasized the significance of this initial commitment to collaborative activities. "It is a first commitment to perform activities together. We have intentions of being able to work to improve our mechanic diploma, which today has four levels of training, but for next year we want to add a new degree, and that is what we have been working on with ACTC Educación," Camera explained. He added an open invitation for anyone looking to take the next step: "We invite all those who feel like taking one more step and those who already graduated, to have this opportunity to integrate more into the world of motorsport."
On the other side, Facundo Gil Bicella shed light on the broader vision driving the project forward. "We have celebrated signing an educational agreement, together with ACTC, in the Department of Education, to begin to shape, in the future, new sessions, beyond the classic trainings that are provided," said Gil Bicella. The goal is to establish a strong presence across the interior of the country with diploma programs matching those currently held in Buenos Aires, bringing the project closer to reality than ever.
This new alliance also highlights how far ACTC Educación has expanded its network since 2019. Gil Bicella pointed out the importance of other prominent educational institutions joining the project, noting ongoing collaborations alongside the Facultad Ingeniería del Ejército (FIE) and the Taller Escuela de Automovilismo (TEA). They have similarly forged relationships with the UTN in both Pacheco and Córdoba, plus the Universidad Católica de Cuyo, working hand-in-hand with these major entities to broaden the available academic offerings and continue their steady growth.
