Alex Marquez to make his return at the Czech GP
It is finally happening. After missing the race weekends in Italy and Hungary following that massive crash at the Catalan GP, Alex Marquez is officially en route to Brno. The BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider is set to test his recovery at the Monster Energy Grand Prix of Czechia.
He faces a crucial hurdle on Thursday when he undergoes his official medical check at the track. This evaluation will decide if the man behind the #73 is truly ready to climb back onto his machine. Even if he gets the initial nod, he may still be cleared only for FP1, pending a secondary review after that opening session. It is a tense situation, but seeing him back in the paddock is a massive step forward.
