Conquest Racing adds Fran Rueda for Watkins Glen

Conquest Racing has made a statement ahead of the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen by signing Fran Rueda to pilot their No. 34 Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo. It is an inspired move for a team that has been consistently punching above their weight throughout the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. Rueda, a veteran of endurance racing, brings a reputation for speed and clean driving to an already formidable effort.

Working alongside team mainstays Albert Costa and Lorenzo Patrese, Rueda is set to make his IMSA debut. The team is clearly looking to bounce back from a tough technical setback at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. As Rueda put it, “Working with Albert and Lorenzo makes this a very easy program for me to join.”

Despite the recent misfortune, the momentum remains undeniable. Between a podium finish at Long Beach and a pole position at WeatherTech Raceway, this squad is firmly in the fight for the series championship.
