It is hard to find a performance more clinical than the one we just witnessed from Emma Felbermayr at Silverstone. In a category where the reverse grid can often descend into chaos, the Audi driver made it look like a Sunday drive in the park, converting her pole position into a stunning lights-to-flag victory. This is her second win of the 2026 F1 ACADEMY season, and let me tell you, it was total domination.
From the moment the lights went out, Felbermayr held firm. She never gave the field a sniff of an opportunity, maintaining a relentless pace that kept Nina Gademan at bay for the entire 13-lap distance. By the time she crossed the line, she had built a two-second gap, leaving no doubt about who owned the circuit today.
Gademan and Lloyd followed, keeping things steady to round out the podium. It was a massive result for Rodin Motorsport, as the McLaren driver ensured the team secured a double podium alongside the race winner. Further back, the field was fighting for every scrap of ground. Rachel Robertson fought hard to take P4, marking her first points of the campaign, while Alisha Palmowski showed excellent pace to climb two places and finish fifth.
Lisa Billard crossed the line in sixth, comfortably ahead of Ava Dobson. Perhaps the most interesting story of the day was the debut of Wild Card driver Chiara Battig. She managed to regain two places, fighting her way into the points in P8. Not only did she score on her series debut, but she also snatched the fastest lap bonus point. It was a brave drive, and she will certainly have her hands full when she lines up on pole for Sunday’s Feature Race at 10:00 local time.
