Fabio Di Giannantonio confirms finger surgery
It is finally sorted. Fabio Di Giannantonio went under the knife in Rome this past Monday to address that pesky injury to the little finger on his left hand. The Italian had been carrying the damage since the event in Barcelona, though that did not stop him from taking a brilliant second MotoGP win while it was still bothering him.
His squad, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, clarified that the procedure was a surgical dressing on the dermis. Thankfully, the machine is ready for action, and Di Giannantonio is expected to compete as usual for the upcoming Monster Energy Grand Prix of the Czech Republic in Brno.
