Felipe Drugovich to continue with Andretti into GEN4 era
It is official: Felipe Drugovich is staying with Andretti. After a tricky introduction to the series, the 2022 FIA Formula 2 champion has found his rhythm, becoming the only pilot on the grid to finish in the top-10 across the last four consecutive races. That breakthrough podium at the 2026 Monaco E-Prix proved he is finally taming these electric beasts, and Andretti is betting big on that growth for the future.
This is a crucial move for team stability, especially with the radical GEN4 era on the horizon. We are talking about a machine that hits 600kW in attack mode and brings permanent all-wheel drive to the table—a massive leap forward in performance. Team Principal Roger Griffiths is clearly impressed, citing the Brazilian’s rapid integration and professionalism as key to their long-term commitment.
Currently, Drugovich sits 12th in the standings with 42 points, while teammate Jake Dennis holds 5th with 94. As they head to the Shanghai International Circuit for the next rounds of the 2025/26 season, the focus shifts to maintaining this momentum. Drugovich himself is eager to keep the project moving, noting, "From the moment I joined the team, the goal was always to build something that could carry into the future."
