Formula E makes a long-awaited return to Sanya
It has been seven long years since Formula E last took to the streets of Sanya, and the anticipation for this return is palpable. We are at Round 11 of the 2025/26 season, and the championship fight is officially on. With only eight drivers on the current grid having experienced this circuit before, we are staring down the barrel of a weekend where absolutely anything can happen.
The action begins this Friday, 19 June, with Free Practice 1 at 16:30 local time. Saturday will be a busy day for everyone involved, starting with Free Practice 2 at 08:30, followed by qualifying at 10:40, and the main event—the race itself—kicking off at 15:05. It is set to be a massive five-day event, and I cannot wait to see how the drivers tackle this Chinese island once again.
