Jarama to host the debut of the Gen4 Formula E era
It is official: the Circuito de Madrid Jarama - RACE is set to host the pre-season testing for the 2026/27 Formula E season. Following the success of the CUPRA Raval Madrid E-Prix back on 21 March, the series is heading back to this iconic venue for a truly historic milestone.
This is where we will finally see the Gen4 car in action for its collective track debut. This machine is a proper beast, capable of speeds exceeding 335 km/h and hitting 200 km/h in a mere 4.4 seconds. With 600 kW of power in ATTACK MODE and permanent all-wheel drive, it is undoubtedly the most advanced electric race car ever built.
As Formula E Co-Founder Alberto Longo put it, there is no better place to debut this revolutionary machinery than a track that perfectly blends heritage with the future. Teams, manufacturers, and drivers will be pushed to their limits here as they scramble to understand this new technology before the full 2026/27 race calendar is revealed on 23 June.
