The MotoGP season launch is officially underway, bringing the noise straight to the heart of the city with a bustling fanzone set up in the KLCC Shopping Mall that stays open until the end of festivities on Saturday.
Fans got a proper look at the machines with display time at Isetan KLCC before the MotoGP bikes hit the streets for a tour through the city on Friday. The machines made scheduled stops at KL Tower and Sg. Wang from 12:00 to 14:00, followed by a longer stint at Dataran Merdeka from 12:00 to 17:00.
Friday's celebrations also let supporters catch the riders ahead of the main Saturday show. The 2026 grid rolls out in serious style for the official opening party taking place at Permata Sapura Tower, featuring a red carpet running from 20:30.
Then comes the big Saturday show. Fans can collect their free access wristband from 10:00 to 16:30 in the fanzone before doors open at 16:30. Showtime kicks off in the evening from 19:00 at the Petronas Twin Towers, where the riders will ride round to the show area and take to the stage.
It is completely free for every fan who can come and enjoy the machinery and see their heroes up close. Alongside the roar of MotoGP machinery, the event features musical performances from The Script, PAWSA, and DOLLA.
For those who cannot make it in person, the full show is being broadcast worldwide. MotoGP social channels, including YouTube, will broadcast the full show live and free, and it is available with some broadcast partners too.
