Nicolo Bulega and Aruba.it Racing - Ducati have delivered an absolute masterclass to capture the 2026 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship Riders’ title at the Cremona Circuit. Three stellar second-place finishes across the weekend were all the #11 needed to seal his spot at the absolute summit of the standings and cement a stunning championship run.
Behind the new champion, teammate Iker Lecuona (Aruba.it Racing - Ducati) has officially locked down second place in the order. Meanwhile, the battle for the remaining steps of the podium intensifies as Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) moves tantalizingly close to securing third overall. Montella currently holds a 43-point advantage over Alex Lowes, with just 50 points left on the table.
A look through the rest of the championship order highlights the fierce competition defining the 2026 season. Behind Montella's 269 points, Alex Lowes of the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team sits with 226 points, closely followed by Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) on 219.
