Pit lane entry and exit rules now formally written into regulations

It is finally official: the Race Direction pit lane protocols, first introduced before the French Grand Prix, are now set in stone within the technical regulations. This isn't just a suggestion anymore. During every single track session, including the races, you must use the exact entry and exit points defined by those broken white lines.

There is no room for improvisation here. Drivers are required to follow the designated entry road and cross the specific timing point without fail. While Race Direction will continue to issue circuit-specific maps defining which routes are strictly prohibited, the message is clear: if you stray outside these lines or skip parts of the entry road, you will face the Stewards. It is a necessary hardening of the rules to keep the pit lane a safe, predictable machine.
