The grid for the 2025/26 Formula E season
In racing, the person in the other side of your garage is always the first one you want to beat. As we head into the 2026 Shanghai E-Prix, the Formula E grid is packed with stories. At Porsche, Season 10 World Champion Pascal Wehrlein is now joined by Nico Müller. Over at Jaguar TCS Racing, the duo of Mitch Evans and António Félix da Costa is one to watch. Nissan keeps things steady with reigning champion Oliver Rowland and Norman Nato, while Mahindra Racing retains the veteran pairing of Nyck de Vries and Edoardo Mortara.
Elsewhere, DS PENSKE welcomes a fresh face in Taylor Barnard to partner Maximilian Guenther. Andretti has opted for a mix of pedigree, pairing FIA Formula 2 champion Felipe Drugovich with Season 9 World Champion Jake Dennis. Envision Racing sticks with the highly decorated Sebastien Buemi alongside Joel Eriksson, while the new Citroën Racing team makes a statement with two-time champion Jean-Eric Vergne and Nick Cassidy.
CUPRA KIRO brings back race winner Dan Ticktum alongside rookie Pepe Martí. Finally, the Lola Yamaha ABT squad relies on the experience of Season 3 Champion Lucas di Grassi alongside Zane Maloney. As we approach Rounds 12 and 13 at the Shanghai International Circuit, these pairings will be the ones defining the home stretch of Season 12.
